There are some excellent videos featured on this site of appraisers using video to market themselves, help others and showing you how to become your housing market’s local trust agent!
But, That Video Wasn’t Created By An Appraiser! Also, I received a reply today on one of the videos on www.appraiservideos.com stating that they checked the ASC website and the person who created the video that explains a “Real Estate Appraisal” was not an “Appraiser”, but rather a “Realtor”. This appraiser who replied totally missed the point of this site. My reply was that this video by Realtor, David Worley, was an example and idea for appraisers on creating a video explaining what a Real Estate Appraisal is to their local market. Would a video like that build trust? Absolutely it would! Can an appraiser explain what a Real Estate Appraisal is better than a Realtor? Absolutely they can! So, for those of you reading this, Why Don’t You Make It Your First Priority To Create A Video For Your Local Marketing Explaining What A Real Estate Appraisal Is!
And, the video on how to geo-tag photos wasn’t created by an appraiser either, but rather a newscaster. So No, not every video on the site was produced by an appraiser. However, any video submitted to this site will be for the purpose of helping appraisers within our profession, their marketing and help present creative ideas on video creation. That’s why I make it a point to attend Appraisal Conferences because I learn so much from other appraisers.
One more thought here! Regarding Appraiser Video Marketing, I’ve learned more from 1 Realtor in Tennessee, John Jones, on building trust through video use than I have from other appraisers. We can learn from others utilizing video marketing.
